The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is India’s national-level entrance test for admission to:

The exam is conducted in two stages:
1️⃣ JEE Main – the first stage of the exam
2️⃣ JEE Advanced – the second and more challenging stage
Each stage is designed to test a student’s conceptual understanding and problem-solving ability.
JEE Main is the starting point of the JEE process, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
The exam opens doors to NITs, IIITs, and many top colleges, but not directly to IITs.
Only those who qualify through JEE Main can move ahead to attempt JEE Advanced.
